Dave & Cady Johnson
Area Director & Admin | SLO County
Before coming on staff with FCA, Dave worked in camp ministry for 10 years at Hume Lake, Forest Home and Camp Sugar Pine Christian Camps. In the Fall of 2018 the Lord opened the door for Dave to begin serving as the Director of Student Ministries at Templeton Presbyterian Church, where he served for 4 years until coming on staff with FCA in 2023.
Dave also serves as a varsity assistant football coach at Templeton High School. He is a graduate of Westminster Theological Seminary, where he received a Masters degree in Theological Studies and is currently pursuing ordination.
Dave’s wife, Cady, is a graduate of Cal Poly SLO and works as the Administrative Assistant for the Central Coast. Dave and Cady have always had a deep desire to serve the local church on the central coast, especially here in SLO County. They have two daughters, Harper and Ryleigh.
Brad Zimmer
Area Representative | North County, SLO
Brad has been on staff for Northern San Luis Obispo County since September 2021. Born and raised on the Central Coast, Brad was a multi-sport athlete in high school before attending college at Point Loma where he graduated with a degree in Business and Nonprofit Administration. Through the influence of mentors and a variety of international experiences, he developed a heart for ministry and serving others
Brads favorite part about working for FCA is discipling young men, being able to coach basketball, and all the free pizza. He and his wife, Sam, are currently doing foster care and hope to adopt in the near future. In his free time, Brad loves to surf, mountain bike, and try new coffee shops with his wife.
Maria Roberts
Ambassador | North County
Maria first started volunteering with FCA while she was a youth leader with a local church where she led small Bible study groups and discipled young ladies. She currently serves as an Ambassador in the north San Luis Obispo county area by discipling female athletes.
She grew her roots on the Central Coast when she attended Cal Poly SLO and graduated as a Biological Science Major with a concentration in Marine Biology. Her involvement with collegiate ministries and mission conferences changed the trajectory of her career and life. A heart to disciple the young generation and desire to serve the church lead her to local, international and overseas ministries.
Maria loves a good book, deep conversations, a hike on a beautiful day, and her latest joy playing disc golf. She loves being a mom and enjoys doing life with her young adult children Jahleel and Hallei.
Brandon Lambert
Area Representative | Santa Maria Valley
Brandon came on staff with FCA in November 2019 and serves as the Area Representative for the Santa Maria Valley. He is a coach for youth sports and is active in his local church, specifically leading in the men's ministry. He is a passionate father. Brandon grew up on the central coast and studied Business at Allan Hancock College. He has been living and serving in the Santa Maria Valley for the last 13 years. Brandon is married to Jennifer and has three children Dyllan, Taylor & Audrey.
Michelle Waltz
Administrative Assistant | Santa Maria Valley
Michelle came on staff with FCA in November 2023. She was born in Kansas City, moved to California in 1990 and has lived on the Central Coast for 28 years. In junior high and high school she played basketball, afterward attending college and graduating from Azusa Pacific College. Michelle has a daughter who is currently in college and plays collegiate volleyball. She enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at her church in Kid’s Ministry. She’s excited to be a part of the FCA family!

Sierra Beach
Prospective Staff | Five Cities & Nipomo
Sierra is currently support raising to come on staff full time as the Five Cities / Nipomo area representative. Sierra was born and raised in Orange County, CA and moved to Arroyo Grande, CA in July of 2017. Sierra is actively involved with New Life Students as a youth leader and Nipomo High School as a sports photographer. Sierra is passionate about the gospel being shared on school campus with students and seeing generational impact in families all over the central coast. When Sierra isn’t with students, she’s probably out milking her cows, baking or learning a new homestead hobby. Sierra cannot wait to come on staff full time and share the gospel with students and see them grow in deeper relationship with the Lord.
