Luke Llamas

Luke came on staff with FCA in October of 2007 and serves as the Area Director for the Central Coast.

He was a five time national competitor as a track and cross country athlete for Cal Poly and received his degree in Communication with a minor in Religious Studies. In college Luke was involved with various campus ministries including Athletes In Action, helping lead outreaches and the bible study for the cross country team.

After college Luke served as a chaplain at the San Luis Obispo county jail while taking bible college classes and working as a full time soccer coach before coming on staff with FCA. He has had the privilege of doing international ministry in Kenya, Mexico, Egypt, Costa Rica and Israel.

In his current role with FCA Luke travels the central coast speaking at high school FCA clubs, training student leaders, and working with adult volunteers to "see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes."
